CBS Exclusive Design – Polyurethane Bush The innovative, patent pending, design of the CBS Vee Plough incorporates a replaceable polyurethane bush inside the base pivot point of the CBS Vee Plough arm to prevent wear and significantly reduce maintenance costs. Vee plough arms are secured with a stainless steel bolt. Vibrations from the conveyor system cause bolt movement, which damages the arm’s bolt hole after repeated contact over time, requiring replacement of the entire arm (and sometimes the entire plough) once it has worn out. Our polyurethane bush eliminates contact by acting as a barrier between the bolt and the arm. This reduces wear significantly and eliminates damage requiring the replacement of the entire arm. Once the bush has worn, simply replace it and the CBS Vee Plough can continue to function. |
